A somber mood has befallen a homestead in Kibwezi after a tragic dowry payment mission resulted in the death of seven individuals. The victims were en route for dowry celebrations when their vehicle was involved in an accident. In a separate incident in Makueni, seven people died and several others were injured after a minibus overturned and rolled in Kalamba. Both tragedies involved vehicles transporting people to family events.
