Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has sharply criticized former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, accusing him and other opposition figures of resorting to personal attacks and nicknames instead of presenting a development agenda for the 2027 General Election. Kenya's Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has separately accused Siaya Governor James Orengo and Embakasi East MP Babu Owino of mobilizing youth, warning that the governor could face prosecution by the International Criminal Court. At the same time, Head of Public Service Felix Koskei is urging for enhanced grassroots engagement as the government promotes its development agenda, emphasizing the importance of citizen involvement in national programs.
