Musingu Boys Senior School has been crowned the new East Africa Schools Association (FEASSA) handball champions after a thrilling final in Morogoro, Tanzania.

• Musingu defeated Uganda’s Wampeewo Ntakke 32-30 in the final to secure their maiden regional trophy.
• The victory means Kenya will field three boys' teams at the 2027 East Africa games, an advantage over Uganda and Tanzania.
• St Joseph’s Boys Senior School Kitale secured bronze for Kenya by beating Uganda’s Gombe Mixed Secondary School 32-30.

KCB Rugby and Kabras Sugar have secured spots in the Driftwood Sevens quarter-finals, leading the charge as established teams like Kenya Harlequin and Strathmore Leos were eliminated early.

• KCB Rugby secured two wins, defeating Kisumu RFC 22-5 and Uganda 7s 12-7.
• Kabras Sugar, also chasing the circuit title, dominated with a 43-0 win over MSC Rugby and a 12-0 victory against Nondescripts RFC.
• Other teams advancing to the quarter-finals include Menengai Oilers and Daystar Falcons, while Kenya Harlequin and Strathmore Leos failed to win any of their opening matches.
