Citibank Kenya will close its Mombasa branch on November 30, 2026, after operating in the city for over 30 years, consolidating its corporate banking operations at its Nairobi headquarters to focus on digital services. In partnership, NCBA and HEVA Fund have launched financing for Kenya's creative industry at a 9 percent interest rate with flexible repayment options tailored to the sector's unique income cycles. Separately, Kenyan parents are being advised to create long-term financial plans for their children's education due to rising costs, aiming to manage expenses over time and protect educational continuity.
