The Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) leader, Rigathi Gachagua, is embarking on a five-city tour of the United States from August 26 to plan for the 2027 election roadmap.

• Gachagua will visit Spokane, Washington; Portland, Oregon; Kansas; Dallas, Texas; and Boston, Massachusetts.
• The tour aims to engage the Kenyan diaspora, which saw a slight increase in voter registration for the 2027 general elections.
