Rising Lakes Put Kenya on Flood Alert as Residents Demand Infrastructure - August 2026

The KSh 200 billion Rironi-Mau Summit road project is progressing rapidly, with a key section nearing completion. Additionally, residents of Ngoingwa are celebrating the completion of a much-needed 12km tarmac road, bringing an end to years of hardship caused by dusty and muddy conditions.
