Opposition Leaders Attack Government, Demand Role in 2027 Election Preparations - September 2026

Opposition leaders, led by Kalonzo Musyoka, have launched a strong attack on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), demanding a role in preparations for the 2027 general election. Kalonzo also dismissed President Ruto's directive to shut down Tata Chemicals as a roadside declaration.
