The World Bank has finalized its funding for the 740km Isiolo-Mandera highway, with the Kenyan government now targeting a June 30, 2030 completion deadline. Kisumu County is undergoing a major infrastructure transformation with over Sh14 billion in road projects, aimed at boosting connectivity and economic activity. The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has mandated that all motorcycle assemblers in Kenya must now provide standard-compliant helmets with every new motorcycle sold, aiming to reduce fatalities. MOJA Expressway has clarified that the Westlands Exit on the Nairobi Expressway remains fully open and operational, despite traffic snarl-ups on Waiyaki Way.
