The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service is withholding student lists from higher learning institutions to recover over Sh500 million in unpaid placement fees. Members of Parliament have ordered KUCCPS to identify higher learning institutions that owe it KSh500 million in student placement fees. Meanwhile, Kenya's Ministry of Education is overhauling Technical and Vocational Education and Training to make graduates job-ready by significantly increasing industry involvement in curriculum development and practical training.
