The Political Parties Disputes Tribunal has upheld the Orange Democratic Movement's decision to remove Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna as its Secretary-General, concluding a dispute over disciplinary powers. This comes as Sifuna had previously engaged in shuttle diplomacy to mend a brewing fallout within the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party. Meanwhile, the United Opposition intensifies its closed-door consultations to strategize against President William Ruto's administration. Separately, ODM party leader Oburu Oginga is currently in the United Kingdom for a routine medical check-up following a brief hospital visit in Nairobi.
