Amsons Group, the parent company of Bamburi Cement, is set to invest Sh4.5 billion in building 10 Mother and Child Level 4 hospitals across Kenya within two years.

• The project involves an investment of US$35 million.

• The hospitals will be developed under a Build, Equip and Transfer (BoT) model in partnership with the Ministry of Health, with the first facility breaking ground in Bomet County.

GT Flow Limited, previously known as Twiga Foods One Limited, has been placed under administration to facilitate debt recovery for suppliers and creditors.

Kenya Power is investing Sh1 billion to connect Lodwar Town, Turkana County, to the national grid, aiming to replace costly and unreliable diesel generators.

• Investment of Sh1 billion to build a new substation and a 90-kilometre transmission line.
• Kenya Power, led by its Managing Director and CEO Joseph Siror, is undertaking the project.
• The connection is expected to benefit over 80,000 residents by providing stable electricity and significantly reducing annual operational costs, which currently stand at approximately Sh900 million for diesel fuel.
