Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote has launched Africa's largest share sale with the initial public offering (IPO) of his oil refinery, aiming to raise up to $2.1 billion from the general public. This marks the continent's biggest share sale. Meanwhile, Kenyan President William Ruto announced that the government is in talks with Dangote to construct a crude oil pipeline from Lamu to Turkana, part of Dangote's planned multi-trillion shilling refinery in Lamu.
