President Ruto Accuses Uhuru of Betrayal and Sabotage in Homa Bay - September 2026

President William Ruto has accused retired President Uhuru Kenyatta of betraying and sabotaging his administration over the last four years. The accusations were made during the President's final day of his tour in Homa Bay County. President Ruto has publicly accused Uhuru Kenyatta of betraying a political agreement and now funding opposition activities against his administration. Separately, Interior PS Raymond Omollo is appealing to the youth in Karachuonyo to shun violence and avoid being exploited during political events leading up to the 2027 general election.
