Sifuna Barred from Addressing JKUAT Students, Criticizes Government - September 2026

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna was reportedly barred from addressing students at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). Sifuna has criticized the government over the incident. Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, leader of the Linda Mwananchi Movement, voiced concerns about the freedom of association in Kenya after being initially barred from attending a meeting at JKUAT Karen Campus.
