DP Kindiki visits Murang’a, highlights government development projects - September 2026

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki visited Kigoro in Murang'a to update residents on significant government development projects. He also inspected the ongoing construction of the Gakoigo Stadium in Maragua, Murang'a county, which is valued at Sh900 million. This visit is part of Kindiki's efforts to showcase government initiatives in the Mt. Kenya region. Additionally, Kindiki has urged Mt. Kenya leaders to shun politics of violence, warning that such politics harms the region itself. The Deputy President has also warned against splitting farmland into small plots, emphasizing sustainable land use.
