Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has directed all health facilities working with the Social Health Authority (SHA) to transition to the new Health Management Information System (HMIS) by September 30. Facilities that fail to comply risk being excluded from the scheme. This follows an earlier notice requiring health facilities to adopt the new SHA digital system by tomorrow or cease serving patients covered by the authority. The CS declared that Kenya's entire healthcare system is now digitized and paperless, positioning Kenya among the world's leading countries in health digitization.
