Members of Parliament have conducted an inspection of the Talanta Stadium construction site in Jamhuri, marking a significant new phase in the project. The 60,000-seater venue is being built in preparation for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, with MPs publicly backing Kenya's AFCON 2027 readiness after the site visit. World Athletics has separately commenced preparations for the 2029 World Athletics Championships in Kenya, with a delegate undertaking an initial site visit.
