Nairobi City Thunder have secured their third consecutive Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) Men’s Premier League title, clinching a historic three-peat after a hard-fought series against Kenya Ports Authority (KPA). The victory, however, comes with a stern reminder of vulnerabilities as the team now shifts focus to the 2027 Basketball Africa League (BAL).

• Nairobi City Thunder won the series 3-0, with key performances from Tylor Ongwae (MVP, 24 points in Game 3), Eugene Adera, Derrick Ogechi, and Garang Diing.
• The team faced significant challenges, including trailing in all games and needing buzzer-beaters and comebacks to secure wins, highlighting a need for improvement before the BAL.
• Despite the loss, KPA displayed a strong performance, pushing Thunder to their limits and earning respect for their competitive spirit.

The FKF Women's Premier League title race remains tight as defending champions Kenya Police Bullets and rivals Ulinzi Starlets both secured victories to maintain their unbeaten runs.

• Kenya Police Bullets defeated Shabana Starlets 2-1, while Ulinzi Starlets thrashed Kibera Soccer Women 6-1.
• Both Kenya Police and Ulinzi Starlets are tied on 9 points, with Kenya Police leading the table on goal difference.
• Gideon Starlets registered their first win of the season, beating former champions Vihiga Queens 3-0.

Preparations are underway for the third edition of the I&N Partners Classic golf tournament, set to take place at Sigona Golf Club on October 9-10.
