A court has ruled that Yagnesh Devani and former finance manager Mahindra Pathak have a case to answer in the 2008 Sh1.5 billion Kipevu jet fuel scam, following allegations of theft and fraudulent disposal of fuel.

• 451,572 metric tonnes of automated gas oil and jet fuel are involved in the case.
• The accused include Yagnesh Devani, his company Triton Petroleum Limited, and Peter Muthungu.
• The ruling mandates Devani to appear in court on January 20, 2025, after being tried in absentia for 16 years.
