Samsung has rolled out the stable One UI 7 update, based on Android 15, to Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A15 4G users in Kenya and other African countries. This major operating system upgrade includes the May 2025 security patch and introduces a refreshed user interface and enhanced features.

• The update for Galaxy A15 4G is firmware version A155FXXU6CYE3, while Galaxy A53 5G receives version A536EXXUEFYE2.
• The new One UI 7 features a visual refresh with redesigned icons and menus, customizable home screen tweaks, and advanced lock screen upgrades including a "Now bar".
• Other improvements include smarter camera controls, new Samsung Health Mindfulness tools, enhanced file sharing with Quick Share, and new theft protection features.
• While Galaxy A23 has not yet received Android 15, it has also received the May 2025 security patch with firmware version A235FXXSAEYE1.
