Nairobi County Governor Johnson Sakaja has installed modern, heat-resistant litter bins across the central business district to improve city cleanliness.

• The new Glasdon Jubilee 110-litre bins feature a secure three-point locking system and a domed top, preventing rainwater accumulation.
• This initiative, led by Nairobi County Chief Environment Officer Geoffrey Mosiria, began on May 18 and is part of a broader environmental management program.
• Sakaja emphasized: “These are not just bins. They’re a statement about the Nairobi we’re building, one that values order, hygiene, and modernity.”
