The Kenyan government has announced the release of Ksh3.51 billion to support vulnerable groups under the Inua Jamii Cash Transfer Programme for May, benefiting 1,759,656 individuals across the country.

• Ksh2,000 will be provided to each beneficiary, including older persons, orphans, and those with severe disabilities.
• The announcement was made by Joseph Motari, Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, on June 7.
• Payments began on June 6, and beneficiaries can access funds via the E-citizen platform or by dialing *222#.
