Kenyans whose land was acquired for the construction of the Riruta–Ngong Meter Gauge Railway Commuter Line can now lay their compensation claims as the government announces a schedule for hearings.

• 49 parcels of land are listed for compensation claims.
• Gershom Otachi, as Chairman of the National Land Commission, oversees the claims process.
• The first hearing will take place on July 30 at the Karen Chief’s Office.
• Claimants must bring necessary documents, including a written claim, ID, and ownership documents.
