The National Police Service (NPS) has stated that popular X influencer Albert Omondi Ojwang died in police custody after sustaining head injuries from hitting his head against a cell wall. Ojwang was arrested by DCI detectives and was facing charges of false publication.

• The NPS claims Ojwang sustained head injuries by hitting his head on a cell wall and was rushed to Mbagathi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
