Global tech platform Glovo has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Kenya’s Ministry of Labour and Social Protection to enhance the platform economy and create youth jobs in Kenya.

• Glovo will invest Sh2 billion by 2027, aiming for a 50% increase in employment.
• The agreement was announced by Dr. Alfred Mutua, Labour Cabinet Secretary, and Oscar Pierre, Glovo Co-Founder and CEO.
• Plans include creating 1,200 new youth jobs and generating over 10,000 indirect jobs through its Glovo Access program.
