Global tech platform Glovo has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Kenya’s Ministry of Labour and Social Protection to enhance the platform economy and create youth jobs in Kenya.

Glovo will invest Sh2 billion by 2027, aiming for a 50% increase in employment.
The agreement was announced by Dr. Alfred Mutua, Labour Cabinet Secretary, and Oscar Pierre, Glovo Co-Founder and CEO.
Plans include creating 1,200 new youth jobs and generating over 10,000 indirect jobs through its Glovo Access program.
