Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has asserted that the upcoming 2027 General Election will be free of rigging, despite concerns over the credibility of the new Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) officials.

• Gachagua claims the opposition will defeat President William Ruto by over five million votes.
• He accused the Kenya Kwanza administration of undermining the electoral process.
• Gachagua alleged that Ruto has been trying to contact him, which he has chosen to ignore, stating, "I have no personal issue with Ruto, but he has a problem with the Mt Kenya community."
