Three suspects have pleaded not guilty to the murder of KASIPUL MP Charles Were, who was shot dead on April 30, 2023.

• The accused are William Imoli Shigali alias Imo, Edwin Oduor Odhiambo alias Muchuani, and Ebel Ochieng alias Dave Calo.
• They appeared before Justice Diana Kavedza at the Kibera Law Court.
• The court ordered a pre-bail report and will revisit the bail decision on July 17, 2025.
