• Boniface is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Kenyatta National Hospital following a serious injury.
• Jonah Nyambura Kariuki, Boniface's father and fellow hawker, revealed the news amidst rumors of his son's death.
• The police officer responsible for the shooting has been arrested and is set to be arraigned in court; an investigation is ongoing.
