Murang’a Governor Irungu Kang’ata has nominated former Teachers Service Commission (TSC) CEO Nancy Njeri Macharia as Chairperson of the Murang’a County Public Service Board.

• The nomination includes a total of five individuals, with a potential five-year renewable term for Dr. Macharia.
• The vetting process for the nominated members is to be conducted by the Governance, Labour and Social Welfare, and Justice and Legal Affairs Committee.
• This announcement comes as Dr. Macharia’s term as TSC CEO ends on June 30, 2025, and following a court petition regarding recruitment procedures at TSC.
