Nyagichenche Girls and Cardinal Otunga have been crowned the champions of the Kisii County Secondary Schools rugby sevens after winning their respective finals on June 19, 2025 at Nyamache Boys High School.

• Nyagichenche claimed the girls' title with a 17-0 victory over Nyangoge, dominating throughout the tournament.
• Head coach Dennis Onyango highlighted their growth and consistency after impressive performances leading to their win.
• In the boys' final, Cardinal Otunga defeated Kisii School 12-0, ending their dominance in the competition.
