The National Police Service has summoned blogger Ndiang’ui Kinyagia following his unexpected reappearance after being reported missing since June 22. His disappearance sparked allegations of police involvement in an alleged abduction, which the NPS has officially denied.

• Kinyagia is a person of interest in an ongoing investigation and is expected to present himself at the DCI Headquarters.
• His attorney, Wahome Thuku, stated that Kinyagia feared for his safety upon learning that officers were searching for him.
• The court has prohibited the police from arresting Kinyagia until the matter is heard on July 24.
