Kenya Police FC is poised for a significant financial boost following the announcement by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) of increased participation fees for its interclub competitions.

• Ksh12.9 million is the participation fee each represented team will earn simply for qualifying.
• CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe announced the fee increase during a press briefing in Rabat, Morocco.
• This year's fee has doubled from USD 50,000 to USD 100,000 (approximately Ksh12.9 million), easing financial strains on clubs traveling across the continent.
