Benson Tunyo Murkomen and Emily Chepkemoi emerged victorious at the fourth edition of the Nairobi City Marathon held on Sunday in the Kenyan capital, attracting over 16,000 participants from 75 nations.

• Murkomen completed the race in 2:08:36, narrowly edging out Justus Limo and Albert Kangogo.
• Chepkemoi won the women's category with a time of 2:25:45, ahead of Vivian Jerotich and Lucy Chelele.
• Both winners received Sh3.5 million, with Murkomen expressing intentions to build a better house for his parents and support his grandmother.
