The appointment of Herman Manyora as Chairperson of the Kenya Hospital Association (KHA) has been suspended by a Nairobi Court on July 7, following a petition challenging his legitimacy. The case is set to be heard next Thursday.

• Manyora claims he was elected after Dr. Barcley Onyambu was removed by a board resolution on June 30, 2025.
• The Nairobi Hospital board cautioned against engaging with Manyora, stating his appointment was based on a 'self-appointment process not recognised under the laws'.
• The board added it would not be liable for any transactions made by him.
