Faith Kipyegon and Beatrice Chebet are set to return to Kenya tonight after breaking world records at the 50th Prefontaine Classic Diamond League meet in Eugene, USA.

• Kipyegon set a new world record of 3 minutes 48.68 seconds in the 1500m, while Chebet became the first woman to run under 14 minutes in the 5000m, setting a record of 13:58.06.
• The two athletes are part of a group that includes over 20 Kenyan competitors at the meet.
• Kipyegon will arrive via KLM flight KL565 at 10:00pm, while Chebet will land on Qatar Airways flight QR1341 at 11:50pm.
