Olympic Champions Faith Kipyegon and Beatrice Chebet have each been rewarded Ksh 5 million by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports for setting new world records at the Prefontaine Classic Diamond League.

• Kipyegon set a new 1500m world record of 3 minutes 48.68 seconds, breaking her previous record.
