Ng’iya Girls High School and St Mary’s School Yala have emerged as the 2025 Nyanza Region Secondary School basketball 3x3 champions in their respective categories.

• Ng’iya Girls retained their title by defeating Asumbi Girls 21-8 in the finals.
• St Mary’s School Yala claimed the boys’ title with an 18-16 win over St Joseph Rapogi Boys, marking their first regional championship appearance.
• Both winning teams are set to compete in the national finals in Kakamega next month, with Yala’s coach Leonard Okuku expressing optimism for the upcoming challenges.
