Kenya will host the 13th World Potato Congress (WPC 2026) from October 26 to 30, 2026, marking the first time the event is held in Sub-Saharan Africa.

• Over 1,000 delegates from more than 60 countries are expected to attend.
• The announcement was made by World Potato Congress Inc., National Potato Council of Kenya (NPCK), and FreshCrop Limited.
• The congress will focus on global food systems, climate-smart agriculture, and fostering economic growth through potato innovation.
