WPP Scangroup has appointed Miriam Kaggwa as its new CEO following the exit of Patricia Ithau, whose contract has ended.

• WPP Scangroup reported a loss of Sh506.7 million for the year ending in December, a stark contrast to a profit of Sh130 million in the previous year.
• Patricia Ithau, who served as Chief Operating Officer, will continue in an interim role until a permanent replacement is appointed.
• Miriam Kaggwa, a finance executive with extensive experience in North America, the UK, and emerging markets, will collaborate with Mr. Vikas Mehta, Ogilvy Africa's CEO.
