The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) has initiated a nationwide door-to-door data collection exercise known as the 2025/26 Kenya Integrated Household Budget Survey (KIHBS), beginning this week.

• 24,480 households will be surveyed, including 960 in refugee camps.
• Data collected will influence national budgeting and development programs.
• All enumerators will use tablet computers for interviews, with strict confidentiality for the data gathered.
