The suspect, identified in connection to the murder of Edward Maingi Ndegwa on July 17, 2025, had been discharged in January 2025 but could not find alternative accommodation.
The suspect was flagged by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) as a person of interest in an earlier murder case.
Blood evidence was found in the suspect's room, leading to his arrest following the discovery of Ndegwa's body.
