• The new 'visa integrity fee' applies to nearly all non-immigrant visa categories, including tourist (B-1/B-2), student (F-1), and work (H-1B) visas.
• The fee will take effect from October 1, 2024, during the U.S. fiscal year 2025.
• Countries exempt from this fee include those under the Visa Waiver Program, such as the UK, France, and Germany.
