The Long Distance Drivers and Conductors Association (LoDDCA) is demanding the resignation of National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) Director General George Njao over alleged incompetence following a scathing audit report.

• Auditor General Nancy Gathungu highlighted that the NTSA had inadequate control over the TIMs portal, raising concerns about potential revenue leakages and data breaches.
• LoDDCA's CEO Anthony Mutua expressed frustration, stating that problems with the driver endorsement system went unaddressed despite previous complaints.
• The NTSA spent Ksh186 million to acquire the TIMS portal, which is said to lack a formal contract for its adoption, further complicating revenue generation.
