The Kenyan government has initiated the distribution of 230 milk coolers worth Sh1.45 billion, aimed at enhancing the dairy sector across 40 counties.

• Agriculture CS Mutahi Kagwe emphasized the project's importance in preventing post-harvest losses and improving farmers' incomes.
• The initiative was launched by President William Ruto in Meru County.
• Each cooler will contribute to an increase in national chilling capacity by 475,000 litres daily, directly benefiting over 2 million people involved in the dairy industry.
