A Norwegian businessman, John B. Solheim, has filed a lawsuit in the High Court in Nairobi against Kenyan lawyer Dennis Onyango over a disputed amount of Sh52 million ($403,000) that Solheim claims to have deposited and never recovered.

• Solheim transferred the funds between August and December 2023 in four payments.
• In his lawsuit, Solheim alleges Onyango has remained silent and has not returned the money or used it as intended.
• He fears Onyango may have misappropriated the funds and accuses him of presenting a false letter from Stanbic Bank, raising suspicions of forgery and money laundering.
