The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has replaced John Mbadi as a nominated Member of Parliament in a significant reshuffle of special seats across Parliament and County Assemblies.

• The decision follows a Kenya Gazette notice published on July 24, 2025, justifying that these adjustments were statutory corrections to promote inclusivity.
