Ghana secured the bronze medal at the 2024 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Casablanca, defeating South Africa 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

• Ghana's Black Queens achieved their 2nd bronze medal, having previously finished 3rd in 2016.
• South Africa initially scored through Nonhlanhla Mthandi in the 45th minute, with Ghana equalizing in the 68th minute via an own goal credited to goalkeeper Andile Dlamini.
• The final match will be contested between hosts Morocco and 9-time champions Nigeria.
