Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has challenged Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna to resign from the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) if he opposes the political cooperation between President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga. Sudi dismissed Sifuna's criticisms, stating the deal is firm and based on mutual consultations.

• Sudi asserted that the political understanding between party leaders should not be undermined by those not involved in the talks.
• Sifuna was urged to focus on development issues in Nairobi rather than engaging in "divisive political rhetoric."
• Soy MP David Kiplagat and Taita Taveta Woman Representative Haika Mizighi echoed Sudi's sentiments, advising Sifuna to leave ODM if uncomfortable with its current direction.
