In preparation for the upcoming FIVB World Championship from August 22 to September 7 in Thailand, nine players have been dropped from the Kenyan women's volleyball team, Malkia Strikers.

• 29 players were initially part of the squad, which has been trimmed to 20.

• The final squad of 14 will be announced prior to their departure for friendly matches in Vietnam between the 15th and 20th of next month.
