• Closure ordered by the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Council (KMPDC) after Njoki's autopsy revealed she was a victim of manual strangulation.
• Secretary General Davji Atellah condemned the decision as immature, questioning the evacuation of patients and highlighting past incidents at Kenyatta National Hospital without similar repercussions.
• Njoki had reported incidents prior to her death, implicating her husband and the nurses involved during her forced admission.
